Rivian is shining a light on the people who really drive its trucks and SUVs with a fresh story series called #RealRivianAdventures. The first couple of tales dropped last week, and they’re already getting some buzz online.
In the second short, named “Saving Summer,” Rivian reenacts a rescue that buddies Sean and Cooper pulled off one sandy afternoon. Using only their R1T pickup and its advanced traction control, the pair yanked a stuck weekend ride out of a tight spot on the beach. Rivian was so impressed that it shot the whole thing like a mini-movie and opened the invite for any R1 driver to tag their real-life summer moments with the same hashtag.

Over in Brooklyn, another episode is brewing in the borough’s hustle. Husband-and-wife duo Mike and Nicole Nicholas have turned their R1S into the moving backbone of Aunts et Uncles, a Caribbean plant-based cafe and cultural hangout in Flatbush. From hauling cases of jackfruit to late-night catering runs across the city, the electric SUV keeps their small-food dream running while leaving zero tailpipe emissions. Their everyday adventure blends flavour, community, and clean wheels, proving that EVs fit smoothly into urban life.

Rivian just opened a cool spot in New York City where you can see Mike, Nicole, and a bunch of other drivers share their stories up close. By doing this, the company shows buyers that owning an EV is about being part of a community, not just buying a car, and it invites everyone to step into an actual space where electric-only adventures feel real.

If you already own a Rivian, the folks at the company are calling for your story next. Whether you’re climbing rugged trails, dropping off fresh pastries around town, or just taking the same old commute with a burst of quiet torque, snap a pic and tag it #RealRivianAdventures. Your everyday moments will help rewrite the story of EV life for everyone watching.
