The 2026 Lucid Gravity electric SUV attempts to break into the EV SUV segment after releasing the luxury sedan Air. The Gravity has two electric motors and all-wheel drive, boasting the industry’s best range of up to 450 miles on a single charge. However, we presume this figure is only for the higher trims, and the lower ones will come with less powerful batteries and, hence, lower range estimates.
The Lucid Gravity has two and three-row options, offering six and seven-passenger seating. The SUV seats can fold flat to the floor, and there is a front trunk where the engine rests like a gas SUV, providing generous cargo space. Like the Air sedan, the Gravity still uses a luxurious cabin filled with soft-touch materials and a dominating 34-inch curved digital display screen over the dashboard, which acts as the speedometer, infotainment system, and vehicle information display.

The Gravity will compete with well-known electric SUVs such as Audi’s Q8 e-tron, Cadillac’s Lyriq, Jaguar I-Pace, and Tesla’s Model X.
What’s New for 2026:
For the 2026 model year, Lucid introduces the SUV segment with the Gravity, expanding their impressive lineup of Air sedans.
Pricing and Which One to Buy:
The 2026 Lucid Gravity starts at $79,900 and can go as high as $141,550 at the top trim. The available trims are Touring and Grand Touring. Pure trim could be added later as an entry-level model. However, we recommend starting with the base trim Touring, which balances cost, luxury, and a comprehensive set of standard features.

Lucid Gravity Performance:
It offers incredible performance with maximum power output from the sapphire and grand touring trims. The grand touring variant will get an astonishing 828 hp. At the same time, the flagship version is said to receive ‘sufficient’ 1,070 horsepower. At the same time, Gravity grabs the crown with its 1,234 available on the sapphire variant. Expect the ‘pure’ version to start the range lower with ~480 horsepower. The additional trims are royally stacked, with 620 on the touring trim. The air-spring suspension and optional rear-wheel steering are available on every trim and provide excellent performance. During our test drive of the Grand Touring model, we experienced fantastic power delivery and felt the acceleration throughout the cabin, all without sacrificing ride comfort.

Estimate 3.4 second 0-60 mph sprint for the GT variant
A robust second act for the SUV segment with lucid SUV gravity is coming to the stage with an estimated starting price of $79,900. Filling the gap with family-focused features and advanced technology to expand the range.
Fulfilling expectations set by nailing the payload and towing capacity at 6,000 pounds.
Range, Charging, and Battery:
Even with Lucid Gravity’s sibling sedan, Lucid Air, boasting a range of 516 miles, Gravity Grand Touring’s estimate of 450 miles is still considered above industry standards. Rivian R1S and Tesla Model X are firmly in the rearview mirror. The Gravity can charge quickly via DC fast charging; in just 11 minutes, it can add upto 200 miles of range.

Interior and Cargo:
It’s clear now that Lucid is all in when it comes to luxury, as evident in Gravity’s expansive interior, which is executed with precision. Passengers can have two or three rows, with the 3-row configuration having either a 2-row bench or captain’s chairs for 6 or 7 passengers. The centerpiece is transformable, and the 2nd and 3rd rows sit flat, creating a cavernous cargo room that approaches minivan volumes. In addition to a traditional glovebox, users can use a front trunk. Rear passengers use picnic-table-style seat backs with power outlets to charge devices freely.

The infotainment and connectivity sections include: Lucid differentiates itself as a tech-centric automaker, and the Gravity features a remarkable 34-inch curved display that serves as both speedometer and infotainment. This display hovers over the dash and runs with Lucid’s next-generation software. A supplemental display to the right of the steering column allows for the operation of other vehicle systems like climate control. An augmented reality navigation system is offered via the head-up display. All trim levels offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety and driver-assistance features: Lucid hasn’t explicitly disclosed the specific features of the Gravity, but we expect it to utilize their proprietary Air safety features. These will likely include Automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Automated lane departure warning with lane keep assist. Adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist.
Warranty and maintenance expenditure: Coverage from Lucid is similar to Tesla, with electric motors and battery parts under warranty for eight years, or one hundred thousand miles. The limited warranty encompasses four years or fifty thousand miles. There is no scheduled complimentary maintenance; however, the warranty grants long-lasting assurance.”
