A Colorado woman has been taken into custody after authorities discovered her in possession of explosive devices at a Tesla dealership, police confirmed.
Lucy Grace Nelson, 40, was apprehended on Monday following an in-depth investigation initiated by the Loveland Police Department on January 29. Authorities had been conducting a thorough probe into a string of vandalism incidents involving incendiary devices targeting the Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, according to an official police statement released Wednesday.
On Monday evening, Nelson allegedly returned to the Tesla facility, carrying additional incendiary devices and materials linked to previous acts of destruction. Detectives, already on high alert, intervened before any further damage could occur.

Nelson was immediately taken into custody and booked into the Larimer County Jail. She faces multiple charges, including the use of explosives or incendiary devices in the commission of a felony, as well as attempted criminal mischief—classified as a Class 3 felony. Authorities confirmed she was issued a $100,000 cash surety bond.
Law enforcement officials are continuing their collaboration with the Denver Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Federal charges are likely to follow as the case remains under active and ongoing investigation, keeping the public engaged in the case’s developments.
