This surge contributed to a jaw-dropping 146% increase in BYD’s overall sales by July, a growth trajectory that shows no signs of slowing.

Meanwhile, traditional heavyweights in the 4×4 ute market are feeling the heat. Sales for the Ford Ranger 4×4 dipped 13.6%, while Toyota’s HiLux 4×4 saw a 9.8% decline. Even the once-unstoppable Isuzu D-Max is struggling to maintain its ground.
